With all the premier free agents already signed and introduced as members of their newest teams, the market is starting to shift to the lesser talents still available in free agency. This, of course, means it's Josh Howard's time to shine. According to David Aldridge, the small forward is drawing interest from a number of teams.
Knicks making a pitch to Josh Howard today; Howard still considering Wizards seriously, along w/Bulls, Cs.
What I find interesting is that all the teams pursuing Howard are in vastly different stages of development and offer Howard different roles on the team. He might be a featured player in either New York or Washington, while he would likely just provide quality bench depth in Chicago or Boston. Money always plays the biggest factor, but opportunity might be the key here.
