Tonight's recommended options (all times EDT):

Baseball

7:00 p.m. - Braves at Nationals, MASN. Look, there's really only one legitimate sports option on television tonight, and that's this game. Tonight's game pits Stephen Strasburg, at home, against a really good Braves team that features fellow rookie phenom Jason Heyward. If all breaks right, those two will be facing each other a lot (thanks to the unbalanced division schedule) for years to come. You won't want to miss them face each other the first time, would you?

Unfortunately, we're contractually obligated to post other TV options as well, even if there's one clear winner for tonight. So we will. Check below the jump for those options.

More baseball

7:00 p.m. - Orioles at Blue Jays, MASN2. The only way I might even consider switching over to this game is if Ty Wigginton gets into another fight with an umpire. Even then, I'd probably keep it on Strasmas.

College football

9:30 p.m. - "Terrapins Rising," CSN. Episode three of the eight-episode miniseries airs tonight. Wonder if they'll make any references to the pressure Ralph Friedgen is facing to win this year.

Basketball

9:30 p.m. - Seattle Storm at Phoenix Mercury, ESPN2. Before you scoff, this is apparently a huge game, because the Mercury are the defending champions and the Storm is destroying teams this year.

7:30 p.m. - San Antonio Silver Stars at New York Liberty, ESPN2. These two teams put together a terrible NBA Finals back in 1999. Oh wait, nevermind.

Poker

9:00 p.m. - World Series of Poker premier, ESPN. As long as I have this platform, I will promote poker on television. Sorry everyone.
