Kevin Seraphin Will Join Wizards After Reaching Buyout Agreement With French Club

The Wizards will have the services of French big man Kevin Seraphin right away next season. According to Michael Lee of the Washington Post, Seraphin has reached a buyout agreement with French club Cholet and will be a member of the Wizards as soon as his NBA contract is approved.

The Wizards roster will soon be at 12 players after first-round pick Kevin Seraphin's contract is validated by the league office in the next few days. Seraphin recently reached a buyout agreement with his French club, Cholet, with the Wizards paying $500,000 to free him from his obligations, according to his agent, Bouna Ndiaye.

Seraphin, the 17th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, hopes to attain his work visa next month.
