Half Smokes Highlights: Joey Galloway Could Dunk...In 1995

One of the odd notes from the first three days of training camp that has flown under the radar thanks to the Haynesworth saga is that Joey Galloway is currently practicing with the first team offense. Sure, in the coming days, Malcolm Kelly or Devin Thomas will probably supplant the veteran who turns 39 in November, but you have to respect someone who can still compete at a high level after 15 NFL seasons.

Galloway came into the league in 1995 as one of the better athletes in the league, making an impact as a receiver and a kick returner. His impressive rookie season earned him an invite to SlamFest during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Check out the youngster's hops:

I'm going to guess Galloway can't get up quite that high nowadays, but as long as he can still create a little separation from his defenders and hold on to passes from Donovan McNabb (who played basketball at Syracuse for two seasons) I don't think anyone will mind.
