Vladimir Veremeenko Is The Final Piece To The Kirk Hinrich Trade

When the Wizards traded for Kirk Hinrich and the 17th pick in the NBA Draft a couple weeks ago, word got out that "future considerations" would be sent to Chicago. It turns out that those future considerations are Vladimir Veremeenko, a former Wizards second-round pick who never played for the franchise. Via Michael Lee:

Wiz sent former second-rounder Vladimir Veremeenko to CHI to complete the deal.

All in all, the Wizards gave up a player who wasn't in their future plans for Kirk Hinrich, the 17th overall pick in the draft (Kevin Seraphin), and $3 million cash. As undesirable as Hinrich's salary is, it's hard to deny the upgrade on the court for the Wizards.
