It's truly unfortunate Ryan Zimmerman had to go up against Cincinnati's Joey Votto, because he probably deserved an all-star berth over anyone else in the NL Final Vote. In the end, though, justice was served, so to speak, and Votto will make the trip, according to MLB Network.
Nick Swisher won the AL Final Vote, ostensibly because he plays for the Yankees.
