The US National soccer team is taking on Brazil in an international friendly right now at the new Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. There are two three former Maryland Terrapins on the team, and two are starting.
Midfielder Maurice Edu was with the national team during the World Cup. You may rememebr he scored that disallowed goal against Slovenia which should never be spoken of again.
↵Center back Omar Gonzalez is making his first appearance with the national team, after being named the MLS Rookie of the Year in 2009 with the LA Galaxy.

↵UPDATE: There are actually three former Maryland products on the team, as substitute Clarence Goodson also is a former Terrapin player.
