Eagles Practices Are A Donovan McNabb-Free Zone

Donovan McNabb is arguably the best quarterback in the history of the Philadelphia Eagles. Andy Reid, however, does not care. If he spots you wearing a McNabb Redskins jersey anywhere near his practice, his will sidle over to you and have it removed.

A fan wearing a Donovan McNabb No. 5 Redskins jersey was asked to remove it. The reason? The fan said the security guard told him Andy Reid took notice when asking him to remove the jersey.

Now, I can think of more terrifying things, but having to strip down in front of Andy Reid has to be near the top of my list. But hasn't this movement to remove players presence from their former teams gone a bit far? It was stupid when the Wizards tried to erase Gilbert Arenas last year by tearing down his image and not selling his jerseys, and it is stupid of Andy Reid to think that fans are going to forget about McNabb in Year One of the Kevin Kolb Era.

But hey, if you have some petty authority to wield over people, you gotta use it every time.
