Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Miguel Montero hit two of Arizona's four home runs, as the Diamondbacks dominated Washington, 9-2, in the second test of a three-game series at Nationals Park.
Gerardo Parra and Kelly Johnson each hit solo homers for the Diamondbacks, who bounced back from a 4-2 loss in the series opener to win for the seventh time in their past 10 games.
Ian Kennedy (7-9) was solid in seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits. The right-hander also struck out seven and walked one to take the win. He went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI and run scored.
Ryan Zimmerman hit a solo homer for the Nationals, who have dropped six of seven. Adam Kennedy knocked in the other run.
Jason Marquis (0-5) continued to struggle on the mound, giving up five runs on seven hits over four-plus frames. He fell to 2-7 lifetime against Arizona.
