Everything you need to know about D.C. sports in one place.
Yesterday was a wild day for John Wall that showed off one key element of his personality: fun-loving in a basketball setting, much less fun anywhere else. Wall, who was at the rookie photo shoot, looked like he was having fun here when he was wearing his jersey.
But Wall also went on ESPN First Take for one of those softball interviews, which are supposed to be fun. Except, Wall wasn't into it.
Those two clips tell you everything you need to know about the guy. Put him in a basketball session with people asking specific basketball questions, and his face lights up. Throw him in the typical mundane interview session, and he shuts down. Just how it should be, in my opinion.
Today's must-reads from around the SB Nation network:
- Bullets Forever has more from the rookie event, including a note about how Wall has talked to Gilbert Arenas.
- Want to read an excerpt from a new book about Alex Ovechkin? Go to Japers Rink.
- Testudo Times thinks it's time for Maryland to get new jerseys. Under Armour surely can do better, right?
