Indiana Fever Lose To San Antonio, Washington Holds Top Seed In East

The Indiana Fever lost at San Antonio Friday night, 75-61, creating a three-way tie for first place in the Eastern Conference, with the Mystics holding the tiebreaker.

Washington, New York and Indiana sit atop the Eastern Conference standings with 21-12 records, with one game remaining on each team's schedule. The Mystics hold the tiebreaker against both team at this point, thanks to a 3-1 record against the Fever and a 3-2 record against the Liberty.

The equation for the Mystics is simple: Win against Atlanta (19-14), and they claim home-court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs. If they lose, they could still drop all the way down to the third seed if Indiana and New York both win their final games, against Minnesota (12-21) and Connecticut (17-16) respectively.
