Now, their playoff journey begins. Tonight, the Mystics will take on the Atlanta Dream in Game 1 of a best-of-three Eastern Conference Semifinal at the Verizon Center.
Ironically, it was the Dream that the Mystics defeated last Sunday to clinch the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta has struggled to end the year and has lost three straight to the Mystics this season, but they remain a dangerous opponent due to their up-tempo style.
