The Redskins have had several legends play for their team, but none symbolize the franchise more than The Hogs, a fitting nickname for an offensive line unit that dominated during the 1980s and 1990s. This weekend, Russ Grimm will become the first member of that group to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH.
Grimm will join Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice, John Randle, Dick LeBeau, Floyd Little and Rickey Jackson in the Class of 2010. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. Saturday on ESPN.
We will keep you posted on the festivities all weekend in this StoryStream. Also, be sure to check out Hogs Haven, as they report live from Canton.
