The Nationals' Blogosphere Loses One Of Its Gems

For five years, Nationals fans desperate for news and analysis about their Minor League prospects had a place to go to get everything they needed. That place wasn't a mainstream media outlet, it was Nationals Farm Authority, a blog started by a diehard fan named Brian Oliver. If you read about the Nationals on the Internet, you were doing yourself a disservice not checking out Oliver's blog.

But unfortunately for Nationals fans, real life often gets in the way for bloggers like Oliver. Today, Oliver announced he will leave NFA in order to pursue his teaching career. It's a new challenge for him, and I, along with so many others, wish him the best.

Here's hoping Oliver's teaching career can be as successful as his blogging one.
