Just when you thought the half was over, Fedex Field erupted in celebration as DeAngelo Hall initiated a fumble from Dallas running back Tashard Choice and then returned it for a touchdown. Most teams would have just kneeled the ball down with just four seconds left in the half from their own 36-yard line. The Cowboys elected to pursue a high-risk-low-reward play, and it was the Redskins who benefited.
It was the team's first fumble return since Sean Taylor's against the Eagles in 2006.
DeAngelo Hall's electrifying play put the Redskins up 10-0 heading into halftime, and broke their streak of consecutive quarters without a touchdown against Dallas.
