Donovan McNabb Thinks Donovan McNabb Is An Elite Quarterback

Tuesday is apparently radio day for the Washington Redskins. Donovan McNabb just finished up his weekly radio appearance on ESPN 980. He talked a lot about the Dallas game, but he also where he thinks he fits among the pantheon of great quarterbacks in the NFL.

When asked if he thinks he fits among the "elite" quarterbacks in this game (Manning, Brady, and Brees), McNabb said, "Absolutely ...

↵

↵↵"I think a lot of times when you want to pin point numbers, you only pin point them for certain players. When you want to pin point wins, you only look at certain players ... Numbers speak for themselves, but it's all about winning in this league."

↵

I'd like to amend that statement a little if I may. It's all about winning the SUPER BOWL in this league, and those other three quarterbacks all have a ring to justify their spot on the QB Mt. Rushmore.

McNabb has proven to be a winner in the regular season, but you have to win a championship as the best player on your team before you can be considered elite.
