Justin Maxwell Likes A Full Pond

One of the cool things about baseball is that there are so many different ways to say the same thing. Instead of merely saying the bases were loaded, you could say they were juiced, chucked, packed, jammed, or my personal favorite, that there ducks on the pond.

No matter how you say bases loaded, it sounds good to Justin Maxwell. Today Maxwell hit a grand slam against the Braves, his third career four-run home run, in only four career at bats with the bases loaded. Regardless of how small the sample size, hitting a grand slam 75 percent of the time you have the opportunity to is pretty impressive. Especially when you sport a career .204 batting average.
