Clinton Portis Finds A Way To Not Be Controversial

Clinton Portis has gotten a lot of ink recently, mostly negative, about the comments he made regarding the Jets' sexual harassment situation, and the general position of female reporters in the locker room. Today, during his media availability, Portis found a way to not say anything controversial (or anything at all), according to Rich Campbell.

Portis' media availability just now was a bit w/ Albert where Albert put tape over CP's mouth & he held up a sign reading "NO COMMENT"

Well, that's one way to do it. I'm a fan of anything players do that can be described as a "bit." And it's nice to see Haynesworth doing something positive. This was a good idea and a funny way to diffuse some of the negative attention Portis had been receiving lately.
