NBA Allowing Wizards To Sell Washington Bullets Gear Again

In the wake of the whole Gilbert Arenas gun situation, the NBA had to step in and tell the team to stop making new Washington Bullets gear to sell in their team story. It's too bad, but they had no choice, despite all the frown faces I made at my computer.

But apparently, that moratorium has been lifted. According to CNBC's Darren Rovell, the Wizards can make new Bullets classic gear to sell again.

Using the Washington Wizards former nickname wasn't quite appropriate after Gilbert Arenas' locker room confrontation with Javaris Crittenton involved a gun. But sources say new Washington Bullets retro items are being made once again.

There's an obvious connection to be made that has something to do with the wacky, wacky idea to rename the franchise, but I won't make it. Oops, looks like I already did.
