It looks like Allen Iverson will be taking his talents to China this season. Depending on how you look at it, this is an opportunity to expans his brand overseas and build a new legacy, or its a desperate cash grab by a washed-up player who wants to mile his fame for every cent its worth.
↵Regardless of how you feel about Iverson in the twilight of his career, don't let it cloud what you remember of his days at Georgetown. He didn't lead Georgetown to the same heights Patrick Ewing did, but he created a special buzz in the area that no player except Len Bias has been able to create before or since. For a little reminder of what he brought to the table, check out these highlights from Iverson's first game with Georgetown.

His stats from his debut won't blow you away, 19 points on 5-18 shooting, but keep in mind he was playing an Arkansas team who won the National Championship the year before. It would take Iverson some time to get more comfortable playing at the NCAA level, but once he figured things out, he provided some amazing highlight reels over the years. He might not be able to do the same things he did in China that he did in D.C., but that shouldn't keep us from appreciating his two seasons with the Hoyas.
