Seventy-five players traveled with the Washington Redskins as they flew out to Arizona to face the Cardinals tonight. The next time the team will play a game, only 53 of those players will remain. That means tonight is basically the last opportunity for so many players to show the coaching staff why they deserve to make the final roster.
Besides that, tonight's game is noteworthy because Albert Haynesworth will play a majority of the snaps. While many of the other starters will come in for just a token appearance (or less), Haynesworth should be in there for far longer. How he responds may set the tone for his entire regular season.
The game starts at 10 and will be aired on NBC and Comcast SportsNet.
