MRI Reveals No Structural Damage To Trent Williams' Knee

Trent Williams has already had an MRI after injuring his knee and toe on Sunday, and the results are good for the Redskins. According to Chris Russell, the MRI revealed no structural damage to Trent Williams' Knee.

Good news on Trent Williams, MRI negative, no structural damage to knee, does have a sprained toe.

No structural damage means that the injury Williams suffered is far less serious than one that includes any damage to the vital knee ligaments, and will require far less recovery time.

According to Jason Reid, the injury is just contusion, and the Redskins are hopeful that Williams will be able to play when they face St. Louis this weekend.
