When the whole Gilbert Arenas-Javaris Crittenton firestorm (pun intended) happened, most of the attention was heaped on Arenas. On one level, this is understandable, considering Arenas is a star player and a guy that didn't exactly show immediate remorse for his actions. At the same time, there was another player involved, one that reportedly actually loaded his gun.
↵Already a fringe player, Crittenton's basketball career looked to be in jeopardy. That said, it appears there are NBA teams wiling to take a chance on the guy, according to Matt Moore of CBS Sports:
↵↵↵The agent for Javaris Crittenton says the former Wizards guard is exploring several options for NBA training camps to attend, including the Charlotte Bobcats

On one level, I'm happy for Crittenton that he has a chance to redeem himself after one big mistake. On the other hand, I'm kind of dumfounded that NBA teams are giving chances to guys who not only have proven they aren't good enough to play in the league, but also have a misdemeanor weapons charge on their record. Good for Javaris, I guess, but aren't there other options out there?
