↵We've talked a lot today about the attendance problems the Nationals are having, which was punctuated by their all-time low turnout last night. I've been saying that the team could draw fans if they put a better product on the field, but that is just speculation on my part. The Capitals have proven that winning usually translates to ticket sales, but that might not translate to a team that is so new to the area.
↵So with that, the hypothetical is simple today.
↵Would you go watch the Nationals if they were better, and in contention in their division? Do you think they ever have the potential to draw consistent sell-out crowds? If they improve, could they ever be as popular as some of the other sports in this City?
