All kidding aside, the Wizards, needing warm bodies for training camp and at small forward, have given Morrison an invitation to come to training camp, according to Michael Lee. Morrison has pretty much spent the last two years sitting on the bench for the Lakers, so you have to wonder why that spot isn't going to a D-League player that's played more recently. Then again, it is just training camp.
↵Or ... maybe the Wizards really feel they're going to be better than anyone thinks and just need the one cheering benchwarmer to provide the icing on the cake.
