The Capitals front office has been very busy during this training camp, signing multiple players to contract extensions. The latest, is Michal Neuvirth, whom the club signed to a two-year $2.3 million contract extension this morning, according to Mike Vogel.
Neuvirth will earn $765,000 this season, the last year of his entry-level contract. He was set to become a restricted free agent this summer. This contract now ensures that he will be with the Capitals through the 2012-13 season.
