It sounds like the search for a new Director of Athletics at Maryland has ended before the beginning of the college football season. Eric Prisbell of the Washington Post is reporting that Kevin Anderson, formerly the AD at Army, will be named Maryland's new athletic director.
Anderson beats out Uconn AD Jeff Hathaway and Buffalo AD Warde Manuel. He had been with Army since 2004.
Maryland has been searching for a new athletic director since Debbie Yow left to go to N.C. State in late June. Randy Eaton, formerly the chief financial officer, had been serving as the interim AD since then.
