The Redskins' eight-man practice squad is now complete, as the team announced today that they have signed linebacker Mike Balogun to the squad.
Balogun spent the preseason with the San Francisco 49ers, who signed him after he went undrafted in the 2010 Draft. If you've heard his name, it's probably because he was ruled ineligible for his senior season at Oklahoma after it was revealed that he played in a semi-pro league. You also might know him because he's originally from Upper Marlboro. For more on Balogun, be sure to check out Matt Terl's post on Redskins Blog.
Balogun will join wide receiver Terrence Austin, offensive lineman Erik Cook, running back Ryan Torain, linebacker Rob Jackson, offensive lineman Selvish Capers, safety Anderson Russell and offensive lineman Will Robinson on the practice squad.
