Georgetown Vs. Rutgers: Hoyas Take 31-25 Lead Into Halftime Against Rutgers

The Georgetown Hoyas are leading the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 31-25 at the half, in a game that the Hoyas were hoping to help rebuild it's confidence after losing several tough games recently.

Chris Wright and Austin Freeman are leading the Hoyas in scoring with 7 points each, with only Nate Lubick contributing off the bench with 4 points.

Although the Hoyas probably wanted to come out and really dominate a Big East opponent, it is not to be so far. The Scarlet Knights are certainly not laying down at home, as they have made this game close the entire way.

One key to the Hoyas regaining control of this game is securing the basketball. Wright has more turnovers (four) than coach John Thompson III would like. They are playing good enough defense so far to shut down the Knights, so if they can take care of the ball in the second half, then the Hoyas could close out this game and get a much needed win.
