DeMatha offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio took his last official visit this weekend, but he left campus without making his collegiate decision, according to al.com.
The consensus No. 1 offensive tackle prospect in college recruiting left Auburn on Sunday without saying where he'll go to school. Cyrus Kouandjio says he'll decide by Tuesday night and sign on the dotted Wednesday.
At Auburn Kouandjio would join what could possibly be the best offensive line recruiting class in history. Like the Fab Five of the big uglies. Auburn has already secured commitments from the best guard prospect Christian Westerman of Chandler, Arizona, and Reese Dismukes of Spanish Fort Alabama, who is among the top Center prospects in the Nation. This is what happens to a football team when they win the National Championship.
Kouandjio committing to Auburn would be particularly crushing to Alabam fans. Cyrus's older brother Arie already plays for the Crimson Tide, and before Auburn rose to National prominence this Fall, Cyrus was considered Saban's recruit to lose. It would not be good times in Tuscaloosa if Cyrus decides to go the cross-state rival.
