Wizards Vs. Nets: Washington Looks To Get Much-Needed Win

The Washington Wizards will take on the New Jersey Nets tonight in a game between two of the league's worst teams. New Jersey is faring only slightly better than the Wizards this season. The Nets are just 10-25 this year, only slightly better than the 8-25 record the Wizards currently possess. However, New Jersey is coming off a two-point win at home against a solid Chicago Bulls team.

The Wizards will be without the services of Josh Howard today, as Flip Saunders said he will not play in the game. He left the game against Philadelphia with an injury and did not return. They will have the services of Andray Blatche, who gave an interesting interview before the game began about his haircut.

The game will begin at 7 p.m. at the Verizon Center. Washington does not have a road win this season, but they are a .500 team at home. New Jersey defeated the Wizards 97-89 in New Jersey on December 16, in what ended up being Gilbert Arenas' last game.
