Air Force Vs. Navy: Midshipmen Finally Get On Scoreboard, Still Trail 21-10

The Navy Midshipmen finally gotten into the endzone against the Air Force Falcons ten minutes into the third quarter, scoring a touchdown on a two yard lunge by quarteback Kriss Proctor to cut the Falcons lead to 11, 21-10. It was Navy's first offensive touchdown against Air Force in the last ten quarters.

On the ensuing Air Force possession, Navy was able to recover a fumble on a botched exchange between Falcons quarterback Tim Jefferson and running back Wes Cobb, but indicative of the entire game the Midshipmen were not able to capitalize and were forced to punt.

As the fourth quarter begins, Air Force is primed to once against score a touchdown and put Navy in a precarious position, as the Midshipmen are not necessarily equipped to throw the ball all over the field in a frantic comeback attempt.
