Maryland Vs. Florida State: Terrapins Look To Avoid Third Straight Loss

The Maryland Terrapins have lost two straight Conference games against ranked opponents, but they have the chance to get back on track against the Seminoles of Florida State this Saturday in Tallahassee. The game starts at 3:30 and can be seen on ABC, or ESPN2 depending on where you live.

The Seminoles had extremely high expectations coming into this season and were ranked in the top five heading into their matchup with Oklahoma. They lost that game and their starting quarterback EJ Manuel to an injury that Saturday. Since then, things have not been going according to plan. They lost to Clemson and Wake Forest after that one and are now just 3-3 with a 1-2 record in Conference. But don't be fooled by that record, they are still a much more talented and much deeper team than the Terrapins are.

The Terps might be able to have some success stopping the run, as Florida State has proven to have one of the worst rushing attacks in the Nation. The Terps are strong if shallow up front, and might be able to exploit this matchup.

We'll have coverage of this game throughout the week in this StoryStream, but for more on the Terps head over to Testudo Times. For more on the Seminoles check out Tomahawk Nation.
