College Football Odds, Week 8: Maryland Opens As 17 Point Underdog to FSU

The Maryland Terrapins head to Doak Campbell Stadium to try to knock out a Florida State team who's struggled up until last week's pounding of Duke. The Terps, led by sophomore quarterback C.J. Brown, enter the game as 17 point underdogs. While the Noles have struggled with injuries, especially at quarterback, the Terps have lost four of their last five.

Unfortunately for Maryland, the Noles look to have a fully healthy E.J. Manuel at quarterback, who's coming off a game where he threw for 239 yards on only 14 attempts including two long touchdown passes. Maryland will need to pressure Manuel and exploit the Noles banged up offensive line. Maryland does struggled to stop the run, but the Noles struggle to run the football.

A lot will need to happen for the Terps to pull out the win, but they should be able to cover the spread by just limiting FSU's big plays.

We'll have coverage of this game throughout the week in this StoryStream, but for more on the Terps head over to Testudo Times. For more on the Seminoles check out Tomahawk Nation.
