College Football Odds, Navy Vs. Notre Dame: Fighting Irish Heavy Favorites Against Midshipmen

Navy's disappointing 2011 season continues Saturday in South Bend against a Notre Dame team coming off an embarrassing home loss to Southern Cal in which the Irish were accused of quitting in the final quarter. The Midshipmen, however, travel to Indiana with a 2-5 record and with an injured Kriss Proctor likely out at quarterback. Trey Miller will likely get the start for Navy.

Notre Dame is favored at home by nearly three touchdowns, giving 20.5 points to the Midshipmen. After winning their first two games of the season, Navy's season has spiraled out of control as they enter Saturday on a five game losing streak. Getting 20.5 points emphasizes just how bad things have gone this season, as this was a Navy team that blasted the Irish in the Meadowlands last year. Kick off is set for 3:30 at Notre Dame Stadium and the game will be televised on NBC.
