Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 9: Are There Any Available Redskins That May Be Able To Help Your Team?

The Redskins offense hasn't been good enough to win a lot of games this year, but there are still some players that may be able to help your fantasy team.

Sure, The Washington Redskins' offense looked absolutely atrocious against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, but that doesn't mean they will perform that way every week, or that there aren't players on the team who might eventually help your Fantasy team somewhere down the line.

The first two guys I would suggest are in the picture above. Santana Moss is still on the shelf, which means that when the Washington quarterback is able to get the ball out of his hands, it has a pretty good chance of either going to Jabar Gaffney or Anthony Armstrong. Let me be clear, neither of these guys are going to win you your league for the rest of the year, but if you are particularly decimated by a bye week, one of these guys might be able to serve as a suitable replacement.

Armstrong is projected to get just under four points this week by our friends at numberFire, while Gaffney is projected to get just about seven. So if you have to make a choice, I guess you should go with him.

Of course if you haven't picked up Fred Davis yet or if he is still available in your league, definitely make that happen. As for the runing backs, who knows which one Shanahan is going to trot out there on any given weekend, and if they are going to be available, so I wouldn't play any of them.
