Maryland Vs. Note Dame Score Update: Jonas Gray Gives Fighting Irish 7-0 Lead

Boy, that was quick. It took just two and a half minutes for Notre Dame to get into the end zone against Maryland at FedEx Field. Jonas Gray capped off the 67-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown, and the Fighting Irish lead, 7-0, with 11:25 to go in the first quarter.

Maryland got the ball first, but quickly went three and out. Most frustratingly, Danny O'Brien, who is starting at quarterback over C.J. Brown, missed a wide-open Quintin McCree on second down in the middle of the field. O'Brien then threw it away on third down, and the Fighting Irish showed their superiority once they got the ball.
