SB Nation just came out with their Week 11 version of the 2011 NFL Power Rankings, and even though the Redskins have lost five straight games, they haven't fallen as far down the rankings as you might have expected. The guys at SB Nation come in at No. 23, just two spots lower than they were last week.
So the Redskins start 3-1, giving the fans hope this season, and then go on to lose five in a row.
The Redskins are ranked, somewhat surprisingly, eight spots ahead of the Miami Dolphins whom they lost to over the weekend. The Dolphins do have one fewer win, but they are trending up after two straight wins while the Redskins are in a free fall right now. I think the guys might be holding out hope that the Redskins put it back together at some point this season.
