Navy Vs. San Jose State: Navy Aims To Get One Game Closer To .500

The Navy Midshipmen bring their vaunted rushing attack out West this weekend to take on the San Jose State Spartans.

The Navy Midshipmen are 4-6 this year, but they'll have the chance to get one game closer .500 when they head West to take on the San Jose State Spartans this weekend. The game starts at 4 pm and can be seen on ESPN3.

Navy, like they do in almost every game they play, will have an advantage with their rushing game. San Jose State's defense is in the bottom half of teams at the FCS level and Navy has the second best rushing attack in the Nation. The Spartans rank as the 35th best passing attack in the Nation, but their quarterback Matt Faulkner has the propensity to throw some interceptions, and his pick total actually outnumbers his touchdown tally this year. San Jose State is just 3-7 this year so Navy should probably be favored in this game.

We'll have plenty more on this game throughout the week and over the weekend in this StoryStream.
