After a Saturday afternoon full of upsets, the Virginia Tech Hokies jumped three spots to number four in the country in Sunday's Week 13 USA Today Poll. The Hokies narrowly escaped on Thursday night in Blacksburg, holding off a fourth quarter rally by North Carolina. Virginia Tech now travels to face in-state rival Virginia in Charlottesville on Saturday in a game that will determine the ACC Coastal Division title.
The Cavaliers entered the poll themselves this week, ranking 25th in the country after their upset win over Florida State in Tallahassee. In addition to the two Virginia teams, both Clemson and Georgia Tech represent the ACC in the latest edition of the poll. Clemson tumbled ten spots, falling from 7th to 17th after their embarrassing blow out loss to North Carolina State. Georgia Tech comes in ranked 21st in the country.
