Rex Grossman Week 12 Fantasy Projection: Trip To Pacific Northwest Could Be Rough For Washington QB

The Washington Redskins (3-7) head to CenturyLink Field Sunday afternoon to face the Seattle Seahwaks (4-6), hoping to end a six game losing streak. The Redskins and quarterback Rex Grossman had their best game since the streak began last Sunday, but ultimately fell 27-24 to the Dallas Cowboys in overtime. Grossman was 25 of 38 for 292 yards and two touchdowns.

As for this week's matchup against the Seahawks, the fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Grossman as just the 22nd best play at quarterback this week. The Washington quarterback's projected stats: 22.86/34.97, 184.15 yds, 1.34 TDs, 0.83 INTs for 11.91 points.

Seattle's defense has been surprisingly stout in the last two contests, allowing just 24 combined points in wins over the Baltimore Ravens and St. Louis Rams. With the Redskins run game struggling, Seattle may be able to tee off on the mistake-prone Grossman, leading to his diminished fantasy expectations.
