Redskins Vs. Seahawks: Roy Helu Starting At Running Back For Washington

At long last, Roy Helu will get his chance to be the Washington Redskins' starting running back. Helu was the guy who trotted out behind Rex Grossman for the Redskins' first series against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, and he has already made his mark with a screen pass early in the game.

It's Helu's first start of his NFL career, and it comes after he was not listed as the starter despite being a far better runner than incumbent Ryan Torain. Whether this means Helu will get the bulk of the carries remains to be seen, but it's certainly a good sign for Helu fantasy owners that he has finally been trusted with the starting position.
