The Washington Redskins earned a win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, but one of the big stories from the game came before the opening kickoff. The Redskins and the Seahawks got into a little bit of a scuffle before the game began while the teams were stretching. That chipiness extended onto the field, where the Redskins were able to play with enough intensity to win the game. Video of the scuffle via CSN Washington after the jump.
As always, it seems like Trent Williams was right in the middle of everything for the Redskins. He seems to have instigated things on the Redskins side, which is something we are used to seeing.
We already talked about Fred Davis' comments, but Barry Cofield seems to back him up. The Redskins could have gotten flustered with all the trash talking and fisticuffs, but they were able to focus that energy into the right areas and win the game.
