Troy Vs. Navy: Midshipmen Pour It On, Lead 35-0 At Halftime

Navy forced a fumble right before the second quarter and promptly capitalized on the turnover, scoring another touchdown. On the second play of the second quarter quarterback Kriss Proctor connected with slotback Gee Gee Greene for a 48-yard touchdown pass to go up 14-0, scoring 14 points off of Troy turnovers.

Navy forced Troy to a 3-and-out on their next drive, getting the football right back and beginning another clock eating drive. Navy went 87 yards on 9-plays to push their lead to 21-0, thanks to a 5-yard touchdown run by Alexander Teich.  Aaron Santiago had a 20-yard run that put the Mids in the redzone on the drive.

Once again, Troy couldn't move the football and have it right back to the Mids. Once again, the Mids went right down the football field, assisted by a 15-yard personal foul penalty on the first play of the drive. Gee Gee Greene scored on a 10-yard touchdown run to put Navy up now 28-0, scoring four touchdowns on four straight drives. Troy did nothing answer, once again promptly going 3-and-out.

Navy marched right down the field, picking up small chunks of yardage until Aaron Santiago struck again, exploding for 30-yards on a run down to the 8-yard line. Kriss Proctor ran the ball in from 5 yards out for the touchdown as Navy continued to pour it on, taking a 35-0 lead into half time.
