Troy Vs. Navy: Mids Continue To Roll, 42-7

Troy opened the half down 35-0 getting the football first. On a 15-play drive that went just 65 yards, the Trojans cut into the massive Navy lead when D.J. Taylor ran the ball in from 1-yard out. Troy just slowly plodded down the field picking up chunks of yardage, scoring on a long drawn out drive.

Once Navy got the football back, they too went on a long 10 play drive going 63 yards for a Mike Stukel rushing touchdown. While pushing the score to 42-7, Navy also ate time off of the clock. Both teams drives combined for nearly 10 minutes off the game clock in the third quarter.

Troy got the football back feeling confident on offense picking up third down after third down, including a 3rd-and-12. Troy once again was face with a 3rd-and-long, but the pass fell incomplete. The Trojans attempted to go for it on fourth down, but gained only a yard and turned the ball over on downs.

Navy holds the lead, 42-7 as the teams enter the fourth quarter.
