We're coming up on Week 10 of the Fantasy Football season, which means that we're starting the final push for the Playoffs. If you want to get there, then you'll likely have to replace some players on your team that are under-performing or have had their season end from injury.
So it might be time to look at Roy Helu. I know we told you to do that a few weeks ago, but if you're anything like me, you already had him on your team, then dropped him because it looked like Ryan Torain was going to get the majority of the carries for the rest of the season. Well, after his performance on Sunday, it's time to give him another look.
Helu had 10 carries against the 49ers for 41 yards, but his biggest impact came in the pass game, where he hauled in 14 catches for over 100 yards. If you're in a PPR league, those are some serious points to be had. It's also worth noting that 49ers have a very tough defense and Helu might do better against a weaker defense.
Our pals at numberFire haven't totally caught on yet, they have Helu projected to get just three points this upcoming week. But if he starts and gets the same number of touches as the last game, it will be difficult for him to not to any better.
