Fantasy Football Week 10 Start/Sit: Roy Helu Could Be A Smart Start

Week 10 of the NFL season gets underway a little bit earlier than usual this week, as we start the still uncomfortable tradition of Thursday night games. So you have even less time than normal to shuffle your Fantasy roster and fight good fits as the Playoffs approach. Should any Redskins fill out your lineup? Let's run it down.

John Beck: Seriously? C'mon, guys.

Roy Helu: I wrote yesterday about picking Roy Helu up off the waiver wire, and I think that if you're thin at running back, Helu would be a solid option to start. If you play in a PPR league, it's almost a no-brainer. He had 14 receptions last week which is pretty monumental, and his total yards figure to go up against a team that isn't as strong defensively as the 49ers. Our pals at numberFire project him to get just over 10 points, but that doesn't include any receptions. Unless Mke Shanahan decides to do the whole musical chairs thing with his running backs.

Jabar Gaffney: Gaffney has been the top target when Beck is in the game, so he might put up a touchdown here or there. If you're getting hit with the injury bug, Gaffney might be worth a start. numberFire projects him to get eight points.

Fred Davis: Always a solid play in my opinion, he seems like the only guy who can put up catches. numberFire only projects him to get four points, but I think he'll do better than that.
