Army-Navy Game 2011 Score Update: Alexander Teich Gives Midshipmen 14-0 Lead

Navy appears well on its way to win its 10th straight Army-Navy game. The Midshipmen benefited from another Army fumble and marched down the field, eventually cashing in on a 10-yard run by Alexander Teich to take a 14-0 lead with 7:05 remaining in the first half.

The Midshipmen recovered an Army fumble near midfield and immediately went to work. Kriss Proctor ripped off a big run on a designed pass to get the ball close to the 20-yard line. On third down, Teich caught an option pitch from Proctor to the outside and dove into the corner of the end zone for the touchdown.

Army has experienced some success moving the ball, but the Black Knights have been done in by turnovers. Both Navy touchdowns came directly after Army fumbles. It could have been even worse if the Midshipmen hadn't put the ball on the ground themselves in the first quarter when they were inside the Army 20-yard line.
