Saturday night's title fight between Amir Khan and Lamont Peterson is just a few hours away. The champion Khan will be defending both the IBF and WBA light-welterweight titles in Washington, D.C. against hometown hero Peterson.
The event kicks off at 9:45 p.m. ET on HBO. Unfortunately, if you don't subscribe to HBO, your options for watching the game live are pretty limited should you happen to live outside the immediate D.C. area. Online coverage, especially, is pretty much nonexistent. The fight is not even being carried via the HBO Go mobile interface, even if you happen to be a subscriber.
MMA Nation has brought up the helpful suggestion of using the always-handy Yelp to locate any nearby bars or restaurants that will be broadcasting the fight. Khan is the odds-on favorite to retain, but Peterson should have a large portion of the Washington crowd on his side.
