Army-Navy Game 2011 Score Update: Both Teams Trade Scores, Navy Leads 24-21 In Fourth Quarter

The Navy Midshipmen and the Army Black Knights are squaring off in the 112th meeting between the two teams. Navy is attempting to win their 10th straight game over the Knights but Army is staying right in the thick of things. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, Navy leads by a score of 24-21.

Navy opened the second half with a 48-yard drive ending in a Kriss Proctor rushing touchdown to take the lead, 21-14.

Both teams finally took to the air in the third quarter. Army knotted the score again when quarterback Trent Steelman found Malcolm Brown in the end zone for a 25 yard touchdown pass, the first score in the game to come via the air attack.

Quarterback Kriss Proctor, who is second among Navy rushers with 77 yard on 24 carries, aired out his first two pass attempts of the game on a drive in the third quarter, connecting on the second attempt with Gee Gee Greene to pick up 12 yards and a first down.

A costly false start on a goal line situation resulted in a 3rd-and-6 for Navy, who were then stuffed on a run and had to settle for a field goal.
